Hi, I’m Mary. Thank you for visiting my little corner of the internet, where I’m dedicated to making authentic Asian cooking and baking simple and enjoyable for every household in Europe.
Here is my short story. I was born and raised in Penang, Malaysia. A vibrant island celebrated for its incredible food and culture diversity. Growing up in a multicultural environment gave me the unique privilege of experiencing a rich blend of flavours and traditions. Food wasn’t just a part of life, it was the heartbeat of our community.
From a young age, I developed a deep love for cooking and baking from my grandma, finding joy in recreating the dishes that brought my family and friends together. This passion grew stronger as I explored new recipes and shared meals that bridged different cultures.
When I moved to Europe, I realised how challenging it could be to prepare authentic Asian dishes with limited ingredients. That inspired me to start Asian Mama, a brand that brings the flavours of home to your kitchen in a simple and accessible way.
Our first product, the Mochi Baking Mix, is just the beginning of this journey. I’m excited to expand our range with more products that make it easy to enjoy the vibrant, comforting flavours of Asian cooking and baking, no matter your level of experience.
